Scholarship Policy

The Asian-American Foundation of Oregon accepts applications for college scholarships that are awarded for the academic school year that begins in the fall of each year. The Foundation offers, two $1,000 scholarships, annually, for qualified applicants who have participated in Asian community and cultural events, anywhere in Oregon.

The Asian American Foundation of Oregon (AAFO) scholarship grants will be made to encourage students who have demonstrated interest in Asian American cultural activities, to continue to participate in Asian American community and cultural activities which help support and promote the mission statement of the AAFO. You must be a resident of Oregon and a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this award. A minimum 2.5 GPA is also required, as well as an essay and letters of recommendation. The Application will be available at a later date.

Community Grants

Community Grant Funding for Cultural Activities

Deadline and Submission

The Asian American Foundation of Oregon welcomes grant applications/proposals to support Asian and Asian American organizations and individuals interested in developing and supporting cultural activities that meet the mission of the foundation.

Criteria for grant funding can be found on the application attached.

There is no deadline for Submissions. Applicants must complete the AAFO Grant Application Form or use the form as a template when preparing the grant funding request. Applications are accepted electronically via email to: oregonaafogrants@gmail.com
